The life we lead, the life we have been taught by people that think they care, they know not the damage they can cause from there love and misunderstanding. Intentions are good, but rarely help the receiver and only you can change a lifetime of mistaken love.

Can you see it
Can you reach it
Can you feel it
Do you cry yourself to sleep
Waiting for the reason to be
There is no shame in wanting more
No one can tell you so
Take all you want and give the rest
To someone who cannot grow
This time you will not want to stop
Forever is longer than most
But knowing is all your choice
Don’t give back your past
But don’t take it with you
Just live the next moment
As a life all of its own
Can you see it yet
Have you reached it yet
Do you still feel the same
Stop crying yourself to sleep
Stop waiting to just be
Time is not real
When you live in this world
Only they will tell you so
But they do not live your mind
Only tell it what to do
Time is only for you
Let go of fear
The thing that sucks your being
You can see what you want to be
You can also be your vision
Live your life for you and not me
Only you can be this time
Forever is your only friend
When they chase you from your head
The teacher said it too
You will never be only you
Those are the words that kill inside
Your only ever friend
You are the one who sees it all
But never takes note of within
You must see it now
you must have reached yourself
Do you feel the words
Running down your soul
No more crying, only peace
As the teacher melts away
No more waiting, only being
