This is the first of many pieces that I will post to this blog. The little ditty in this post is one I wrote in May 2006 and is as I wrote it then. I could up date it and may be add to it as it could probably do with being a bit longer. See what you think I hope you like it.

Blade Of Grass

What lies beneath is
A certain sense
But you can’t see
Beyond your fence

Did you see me
In the glass or
Feel my presence in
The blade of grass

A certain sign
Don’t wait to recieve
Just open your eyes and
You will be free
The routine and blunder
Will make you wonder
Where have you been
You’re unforseen

Did you hear me
In the past or
Feel my presence in
The blade of grass

Stability and security
It means so much to you
Will it see you through
Your infelicities
Routine and blunder
Will sound like thunder
When you have seen
Where you have been

Can you feel me
At long last
My presence in
The blade of grass

That was Blade Of Grass and I hope you liked it, you may be wondering what it is about so I will try to briefly explain. The general thought behind blade of grass is that most of us don’t really see beyond our busy everyday lives, we tend to motor on full speed ahead without a thought for the amazing things that are all around us. We tend to take it all for granted and never really see the beauty that is life. We judge and see the worst in someone before seeing the best, we don’t even acknowledge the little things that make this world great.

Take a moment and look around you and try to see the beauty and magnificence that is in all of life that is before you because life is amazing.
