Crying In My Eyes
Slip one in that I’ve just written, sometimes the subject of a piece of writing can be unclear and may be that is the way it is meant to be, then it can be mean what ever it wants to whom ever reads it and that is fine by me.
Crying In MY Eyes Tonight
For the sake of my sons
Will you take from me this gun
There’s crying in my eyes tonight
I can’t see a way to get me through this day
How many times do I have to walk
The streets that are so cold
I can’t see away to get me through today
For the sake of my daughters
Will you take me back home
There’s much more to this than me
If I take part then I will never be free
How many times do I have to pay
The price is much to high
If I take my part then I can never be free
For the sake of my wife
I don’t want this life
There’s more trouble up ahead
I have never told you what you mean to me
My last chance to save myself
This my last mistake
I should tell you what you are to me
For the sake of myself
Give me back my gun
There’s crying in my eyes tonight
I can’t face the sorrow I’d rather let you go
The best thing for you and for me
The story comes to an end
There’s crying in my eyes tonight
Don’t wanna face the shame I’d rather let you go
There’s crying in my eyes tonight
I can’t take the sorrow I’d rather let you go
There’s crying in my eyes tonight
I can’t face my face I have to let you go
The darkness rushes in and the pain is relief
I never imagined it would be like this
Now my time stands still and I see your faces
The sadness and the tears
Forever I will be in your hearts and your eyes
Your are my family
But it had to be, I had to let you go
