Gone Away

I haven’t gone away, even though its been five days since I posted anything. I have been really busy and haven’t had a lot of time to get to my blog and write.

I have grabbed a few minutes to sit down and write and here is what I came up with, I dare say it’s not a masterpiece but I did like the way it just flowed from my head.

Gone Away

Early in the morning, the dogs are barking
It takes me no reason to make them stop
But the years I’ve lost and wasted
No man will understand

Then she has to say
How are you my darling
Never better than before
The dogs do carry on
And the years go past with force

Time will tell me how and if
And you will give your voice
No one can say why it is
Those dogs just carry on
But it’s all to much, the noise

Heaven is the anchor
Hell but once was then
Can you take me tonight
And show me the truth again

Early in the morning the dogs are barking
Wakes me up from the heaven in my head
How are you my darling
Time to take the day and start again
Will it ever go my way

One day when the dogs stop barking
You will see my empty soul
May be you can rebuild me
And then solace I will hold
Please take me tonight
Show me the truth again

For tomorrow is the final day
How are you my darling
I am truly fine today
Feeling much better now
The dogs have gone away
My last day

I will try not to leave it so long for my next post, just in case any of you out there do enjoy what I write. If you don’t then it doesn’t really matter.
