Love, Peace And Understanding

WOW! This is a big topic and one that is debated the world over for as long as we have existed as the human race. So why can we not achieve it ?

When you think about the title Love, Peace And Understanding then it is very easy to make sense of it, say it out loud ‘Love, Peace And Understanding’ It’s easy to say and it is easy to grasp the concept behind it.

Love

Can you love someone ? Yes you probably can. Can you love everyone ? Probably not. After all it is hard to get on with everyone you meet and some people will annoy you, there are some that will be horrible to you, so how can you love someone who is mean to you.

Peace

This is a difficult one, can you grant everyone your peace, of course you can but it is not as easy as that, you will argue with some people some of the time and how can you pass them your peace if you are in conflict with them. It is hard to be calm and peaceful with someone that is being agressive towards you. The last thing you want to do is wish them love and peace, you more than likely want to punch them.

Understanding

Can you understand the views and points of everybody you meet ? No you can’t because their views do not always agree with your own views and after all you are right yea! They don’t know what they are talking about, your point is the right point so why are they disagreeing with you and being awkward. To make you look bad, because they don’t like you or may be although you think you are right, may be you are wrong. Better still what about if they just have a different view to you and you are both right in your own ways.

This is just us in our normal day life and we can’t seem to live harmoniously with people we live with, work with or just meet on a daily basis, we can’t share love, peace and understanding with these people. So how in hell are we going to achieve love, peace and understanding on a world wide scale.

Me don’t know the answer to that one, but what I will say is that if we can all try harder on a personal level then may be the love will grow. Try to give love, peace and understanding to all the people in your life and the new people you meet everyday, even if they don’t return the courtesy to you. We are all different and we all have different views, so lets accept that.
