Moving On
I wrote this very quickly, it is just a bit of fun really. It is about how us Men sometimes struggle to understand what it is you Ladies want from us or what your thinking. You know those mixed messages you give out to us Fella’s.
You know how sometimes you say one thing, but really mean the opposite, well it is not to be taken to heart us guy’s just get confused sometimes. Most people get through the misunderstandings of working each other out in a relationship, but it can be the downfall of many a relationship. This isn’t really aimed at you Ladies (that was just a joke) it is really about the difficulties that a lack of communication can cause in a relationship and how they can come to an end because of it.
Moving On From You
Give me a desert and I’ll cross it
I’ll sleep on a bed of nails
Take away my freedom
There is nothing I can fail
You to me are a mystery
I never got you right
I try so hard to please
Is it worth the fight
The light comes like a miracle
The sun shines on my face
A flower opens up in spring
But you always make me wait
Time goes by, the flowers die
In the air descends a frost
Leaves they fall from the trees
But with you I am always lost
I could try for all of time
I could bare my arse to Christ
But one thing I can never do
Is work out just one time
What is on your mind
So what do you want
Tell me what you want
If I new then I would deliver
Like a postman to the door
Instead I’m like a tea cup
Spinning at the fair
Complication is your fashion
Chaos and despair
Is just what you put me through
Everyday I am here
I search for one single clue
But nothing you will share
I don’t know what you want from me
Can’t see and I can’t find
Just what you are looking for
Please tell me just one time
Give me the moon and I’ll walk it
A thousand times once more
But knowing how to please you
Is something I will ignore
Forever is a long time
I won’t spend it with you
Give me the moon and I’ll show you
A thousand faces to choose
Then you can forget this one
Cause it’s moving on from you
As far as I’m concerned
There’s nothing more to do
