No Rhyme No Reason

When we write, do we need to make it poetic and do we need to have a justification or explanation. No rhyme or no reason is a the way one can write, there is no right way or wrong way, it just is the way it is. Mind and thoughts are plentiful, some make sense and some do not, it is just the way they are and so it is.

The Day I Saw Your face

The ocean is wide and blue
But I would swim it all
If it meant a life time spent with you
That fateful day I saw your face
For my heart it felt so true
On the day that I met you

You are all my life
The best thing that I have
My gratitude will always last
My hunger and my pain
I gave them to my past
On the day that I met you

When you touched my open heart
We were walking the same path
Something happened in my life
My dreams became so still
My sleep became so calm
Since the day that I found you

The stars are bright and far away
But I can fly and catch them all
For just one special smile
To greet my opening eyes
It makes my day my world
The day you graced my life

You are all my life
The best thing that I have
My gratitude will always last
My hunger and my pain
I gave them to my past
On the day that I met you

The mountains reach the skies so far
But I would climb them all
If I can stay and watch you grey
Those years would pass so fast
Until my last breath would pass
I will wait for you to cease

You are all my life
The best thing that I have
My gratitude will always last
My hunger and my pain
I gave them to my past
On the day you crossed my path
