Nothing Eyes
I have been so busy lately that I have not had much time to write, but I have grabbed an hour and sat down to write this little collection of words for you to read. It is a little story about meeting someone when you are both not ready to commit, may be because of being to young. What ever the reason it does happen…
Nothing Eyes
You ask me why
Yet if I told you so
Then would you buy
I laid it on a plate
That was my own mistake
Cause you and me
It’s a lullaby
We won’t ever see
Nothing to displace
No nothing to achieve
There’s only heartache chasing me
So how can you say
There’s nothing in my face
When I make you my only play
You throw it back for me to catch
As your ego self inflates
Another endless day
Look in my face
The waters dry
Yet it’s running down my face
With a smile on your face
Taking the time
You wipe it delicate with haste
Cause you and me
It’s a lullaby
We won’t ever see
Nothing to displace
No nothing to achieve
There’s only heartache chasing me
The fire has started
You’re a burning disgrace
There you leave me standing
I wonder my fate and fight with hate
As you go back to his place
No more chances
No more cheese
Threre’s nothing to complete
So take your eyes on someone else
And leave me to compete
For I have come down
I will shy away
You’re scary more than me
It’s written just beneath
Cause you and me
It’s a lullaby
We are never gonna see
There’s nothing more than this
Worth waiting at my feet
Only heartache chasing me
Cause you and me
Can walk away
Not worth making right
I look at you one last time
Before I melt into the night
Don’t chase me tonight
