Following my rant in my last post Harsh Words which I hope didn’t offend to many people, just me letting off steam, I thought I would write a little ditty about our wonderful world and how we miss so much of what is around us and what is in it.

We do take this great world for granted most of the time and don’t really see the wonders it shows us on a daily basis. It would be great if we could all see beyond our misfortunes and enjoy what we have surrounding us every day.

Wonder World

Looking at the world through my eyes
I can see the beauty there
So much to share
It’s so easy to find
But do we care

The sun it shines over fluffy clouds
The wind it blows forever
Still we feel no warmth within
You Never hear a sound
The rain is coming down

Have you ever watched a sunflower open
Before your very eyes
Or known the reason why
Felt it with only joy
So much power

Have you ever seen a rabbit so cross
It would shoot a hare
What are we waiting for
Why do we always ignore
The things we never saw

The rain it wets our face with care
The storm grumbles its words
Still we turn and run away
Never listen to what was said
Where are our heads

The sun it shines over fluffy clouds
The wind it blows forever
Still we feel no warmth within
You Never hear a sound
The rain is coming down

How long can we carry on
Still hurting more and more
There has to come a time
To feel the warmth and show we care
Listen to what’s said and share
The wonder of our world

Go open your eyes this very day
See what it has to say
Take a lesson from the sun that shines
The wind that always blows
Feel the warmth and the breeze upon your face
Now think about this place
